Questions

Support coordinator FAQs.

Does Healthroos provide support coordination?

No. Healthroos provides mobile allied health services. This page gives support coordinators a clear way to refer participants for physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology and Functional Capacity Assessments.

How quickly will Healthroos respond to a referral?

Healthroos aims to acknowledge referrals within four business hours. This confirms receipt and begins the service-fit check; it does not guarantee acceptance, clinician allocation or an appointment within that period.

Does Healthroos work with all NDIS plan-management arrangements?

We can discuss referrals for self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants. Acceptance depends on the requested support, registration scope, available funding, suitability and an agreed service arrangement.

Can Healthroos communicate with the participant’s care team?

Yes, with consent from the participant or authorised representative. We agree who should receive updates, what may be shared and the preferred communication method.

Can I request a report for a plan reassessment?

Yes. The report’s clinical purpose, scope, estimated cost and required date should be agreed before work begins. Reports provide clinical evidence and cannot guarantee an NDIA decision.

Does submitting a referral guarantee acceptance?

No. We first check the discipline, location, participant needs, current capacity, funding and clinical suitability, then explain the available next step.

Is Healthroos a registered NDIS provider?

Yes. Healthroos Pty Ltd is an approved registered NDIS provider for Therapeutic Supports. The NDIS Commission Provider Register lists its registration as approved and in force until 14 February 2028. View Healthroos on the official NDIS Commission Provider Register.
