Occupational Therapy Functional Capacity Assessments.
An FCA commonly requires around 10 total billed hours, including the assessment session, provider travel, file review, stakeholder liaison, clinical analysis, recommendations, report writing and finalisation.
- OT assessment, report and eligible non-face-to-face work: $193.99/hour
- OT provider travel: $97.00/hour for actual agreed travel time
- A written, itemised estimate is provided before the FCA begins
- Total hours may increase or decrease depending on complexity
Complexity may depend on the functional domains assessed, available records, stakeholder interviews, required assessments, assistive technology or home-modification questions, and the report purpose. Because travel uses a different rate, an FCA is not presented as a flat “10 × hourly rate” package. Learn more about our NDIS Functional Capacity Assessment service.
